Getting connected

Family and friends get access to more services on our private network. To reach them you install one small app called Tailscale — it's like a key to the house. You only do this once per device.

1. Ask Alex for an invite. Text or email them — they'll send a link.
2. Install Tailscale from the App Store / Play Store / tailscale.com/download on a computer.
3. Open the invite link on that device and sign in when it asks.
4. Flip the switch on in the Tailscale app.
5. Visit remote.bironfamily.net — that's the members' page with everything on it.

Leave Tailscale on; it doesn't slow anything down or watch your traffic. If something won't load, check that the switch is still on — that's the fix 90% of the time.
